A word from the President of SmallTown Entertainment and the creator of Big Mama's Bible Stories.

As a kid growing up in the small southern town of Brandon, Mississippi, I had the pleasure of being nurtured and influenced by many wonderful people. By far, one of the most influential was my grandmother, or Big Mama as known by me and everyone else in town.

Big Mama helped mold and shape my life in so many ways during those hot humid days and rainy nights. While sitting on the floor in front of her rockin' chair, I reveled in eating homemade ice cream piled atop fresh baked blackberry cobbler. I listened attentively to every story that she shared while sewing together colorful pieces of fabric for a patchwork quilt.

Rockin' slowly back and forth, Big Mama always hummed as she weaved the needle and thread. She seemed to have a story for each piece of fabric, and it was those stories that taught me to embrace important values such as faith, love, compassion, and thankfulness.

My wife, Lisa, and I take great pleasure in utilizing those same important values to build strong character in our children.

Likewise, I sincerely hope the Big Mama's Bible Stories series will help empower and encourage your children to utilize biblical principles in everyday life.
